Why take our 11+ Mock Exam?

Based on current GL format. We undertake extensive research to ensure that our 11+ mock exams reflect the style of questions, format & process carried out in the real 11+ exam.

• The 11+ GL Mock Exams – all exams include a variation of questions covering Verbal/Non-verbal reasoning, Maths, English, close test and numerical reasoning.
• Real 11+ exam conditions – to ensure that your child is fully prepared for the real thing on the big day we replicate full 11+ exam conditions.
• Prepares child for test day – The mock exam helps to alleviate students nerves and fears early on, experiencing the 11+ format for the first time can be daunting so practicing will help children to be calm and composed.
• Shows child’s current level of ability – You will be able to see where your child’s ability lies, progress over the year and against other students via a confidential ranking.
• All exams are different and increase in difficulty over the months leading up to the real 11+ exam, ensuring the highest level of preparation.

We are here to support students after the 11+ exams are over. Moving up into year 7 can be a daunting and a big step up in learning. We can help bridge the gap with summer year 7 prep classes English/Maths (link to workshops page)  and continued  secondary school tuition.

It will often take students 3-4 attempts to start becoming comfortable with the exam format and timings. We will coach students in how they can improve their scores and the most efficient ways of getting through the paper.

Our 11+ Mock exam schedule begins in December each year. Mocks are then spread between February, April, June and form  part of our ‘11+ Summer Course’ in August. The exams will increase in difficulty throughout the year and alongside our progress papers give students the confidence to give the 11+ exam their absolute best.
