Year 5 Mastery Course
The 11+ is not simply a harder school test. It is a different type of assessment.

Pupils learn the logic behind Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning patterns. They learn how to break down complex maths problems efficiently. They practise comprehension methods that extract meaning quickly and accurately.

English Comprehension
Children learn how to identify key information quickly, interpret inference questions accurately and avoid common traps that cost marks.
Maths
We strengthen arithmetic fluency and teach structured approaches to multi step reasoning problems. Pupils practise working clearly and efficiently under time pressure.
Verbal Reasoning
Over twenty recurring question types are taught using clear, repeatable techniques. Vocabulary development is embedded throughout.
Non Verbal Reasoning
Spatial logic and pattern recognition are broken down into manageable methods, including newer evolving formats seen in recent exams.
Exam Technique
Timing strategy, question triage, answer recording accuracy and stamina are all trained explicitly.
The aim is simple. When your child sits the real exam, nothing feels unfamiliar.
Confidence grows when children understand what they are doing and why.
With a maximum of six pupils per class, we can identify misunderstandings early and correct them before they become habits. Pupils ask questions. They see others working through similar challenges. They realise difficulty is normal and progress is possible.
We do not spoon feed answers. We teach methods that pupils can apply independently. Over time, they become calmer, quicker and more assured.
